Room 13 was amazing to visit on Saturday. I travelled 100 miles to get there and 100 to go back. Travelling seems to be in my blood. My dad worked on the railways for all of his life. My brother drives for a living and my grandfather loved cars and bought a new one whenever he could .Even my mother owned a yellow bubble car.
Well anyway the journey was fantastic seeing all those rolling hills covered in snow. The roads to Fort William were very straight and my eyes were opened to the beauty which is only a few hours away.
The youth centre was the venue for the Room 13 seminar which was embedded inside Caol Primary School and the original Room 13 we did not see as it belonged to the school. However we were able to see the makeshift studio which was set up for Saturday Art classes. The children of the school were the  most impressive thing there. They were confident and happy and had a lot of supportive adults working with them. The children were very able to talk about their art work and very enterprising - selling cards and DVDs to us all.
This image was done on the IPAD and represents the lovely moon which we saw that week. I was really pleased I was able to use the pen to draw the moon.
