Here is a Hermes scarf.  It is useful and I like the design. Art should be useful and uplifting.
This week I was lucky enough to see a large board covered in items which were found on the beach and then stuck on and sprayed golden!  This reminded me of  Helen Carnac who seems to collect and catalogue items. It also reminded me that the pupils who made the board were also reflecting their space and had found objects in their environment.

Here are some images from Helen Carnac's work.

So how will I apply this in my teaching?  Well I have some good ideas about how to present pupil's items of interest collections.  This will tie in with our topic which is based around maths as this may tie in with sorting and information handling.
