Yesterday was a lovely morning and I took the opportunity to walk the dogs before anyone else was awake. I am so glad I did because I saw a beautiful butterfly.  It was a lovely purple colour and was so delicate and light and the colour was so intense on the top and underneath were some beige spots.  These images are recorded above in a sketch form because  I would not be able to remember the colours if I had not recorded these earlier.  This seems to be my online sketch book now and I am glad that I can share it with you.  I can see that these sketches could be combined together and made into something bigger and better.
