Hello well the weather is cold however that is producing the most amazing sky scenes right across the land of Ayrshire, This has inspired me almost everyday now and that is how I used to be - always looking for a picture, At night there are some fabulous scenes of two stars and a bright sliver of a moon. The sky is very dark. As an art student it would have taken me at least a day and a lot of expense to paint the images which inspired me.
 Now I feel that I have discovered the perfect medium for my type of work.A digital painting can be done in a few minutes without all the fuss and smell of turps.
 I always did admire the simple bright colours of some of Picasso's work and really enjoyed the stories which may be told by some religious painters. My art should be about reflecting the beauty of the world we live in. How sentimental but true. We saw this scene today.  The clouds were so white and thick that they looked like huge mountains covered in snow. However it was only heavy snow clouds which left a small sprinkling of snow on the hills below.
