Hello - this week was my birthday and I had a wonderful time. I was telling some friends that we all have some creativity inside us and some of us have it channeled into making glitter covered bottles or decorating  walls with stenciled ivy patterns.
If you look closely at advertising you will see that many of the images are very bright and capture the eye which then pulls you into the advert or shop. So be aware of the image makers because they are usually well trained in visual arts and understand what colours and words will appeal to us.
I was thinking more about how we can combine words and images to make a more therapeutic art form. So many adverts entice us to buy - why not remind ourselves we can  be happy without buying the products which are constantly being advertised. Here is an example of what I mean.
Today I was drawing pie charts on the board as I was teaching maths and I think this image is inspired by thinking about data and how information can be combined together and then be interpreted. I have tried to combine the information in a bright colourful way.
