These are my latest images done on the Art rage programme. The first one is an alien landscape and the second is what I saw when I looked into a solution of pine fresh disinfectant and water. THis was significant to me because each shining particle represented something spiritual to me that I cannot put into words!
I was in two Art galleries last week and was not impressed by the "installation" which was a health and safety risk to get to. The huge room was darkened and one had to meander around benches in the dark to find a seat. The film one watched was all about the Clyde. It was  merely a film. Outside the workers of the city i.e.bricklayers and office workers were all sitting on the steps of GOMA and it was as if they were all chanting "what use is an art gallery except for us to sit on it's steps to have our lunch!"
Oh dear I seem to have become an art critic!
However inside GOMA apart from the previously mentioned film , there were some lovely paintings. My favourite was by the colourist Peploe.
Before hand ,Sam and I had wandered into the Breeze gallery in Merchant City and I was impressed by the quality of some of the work although the most popular seemed to be paintings of highland cows and rabbits. My challenge is to get a piece of art into a gallery - this year!
